Simple Steps to Medical Savings
Step 1: Locate a Provider
To locate a provider, you may visit www.careingtonadvantagecard.com or call the toll-free number provided in your Careington Advantage Card membership materials.
Step 2: Your Appointment
Before calling your provider’s office to schedule your appointment, please call the Physician Access Program Member Services Department to verify your provider’s participation in the medical discount program. A representative will verify the provider’s continued participation on your behalf. At your request, the representative will return your call or send you an email to confirm the provider you’ve chosen is still participating. Then, you may call to schedule your appointment.
Step 3: At the Provider’s Office
Present your identification card and Dear Provider Letter located at the back of your fulfillment book to the receptionist when you arrive at the participating provider’s office. Your membership ID card instructs the provider to call or fax Physician Relations for the negotiated rate agreed upon in their contract with the network.
Step 4: Payment to the Provider
Remember, you are responsible for paying the provider the entire discounted fee at the time service is provided.
